Eric Blot | violinmaker

Born in Parma, Tarasconi then moved to Saronno and Milano where he made most of his instruments. He worked for Gaetano Rossi in Milano and began signing his own name to instruments after the death of Rossi circa 1886. This violin was made circa 1890, using his typical model. The wood choice and quality of varnish make this instrument a very special sounding violin.
